In the following we will present you the teams in detail.
The hardest job of our project was undoubtedly recording the audio files. First the team worked out a concept for the coordination of music, soundeffects and speaker, and afterwards they realized it. It took a long time to record and cut the audio files, to add several soundeffects, master it and normalize the audio levels of the finished tracks, but finally, the Short and the Long Run were ready for downloading.
In order to make a lot of people aware of our product, the media management was very important. For this purpose the team got in touch with radio, television, newspapers and firms, mentioned in our audioguide.
Part of this team's tasks were checking and adjusting the guide-texts and their arrangement into a logical flow. The single contributions had to be completed with directions and the map for orientation in the city had to be created. To obtain constructive criticism on our product, the editorial team also prepared a feedback form.
The task of this team is obvious. As we provide our guide in two languages (German as well as English), translations into English were unavoidable.
In order to provide the interested audience with our audioguide, it was necessary to create a webpage. The task of this team was design and technical realization of our Webpage, from which you can download the Basel cityguide for free.
